Eid events for the Somali Community 2021.

Tuesday 20/07/2021 will be the Eid day. There will be no communal evebt other than attendance of Eid prayers at differen mosques on that day.

The Somali Communities Council Inc will host a COVID Safe planned Eid celebration on 24/07/2021 at Regency Park – 222 Days Rd, Ferryden Park SA 5010. There will be free lunch for all in attendance.

The SomaliCommunities CouncilInc did not formally invite guests from institutions this time. There will only be one special guest of for the executive team.

We have this time round encouraged all families to invite their fellow Australian neighbours to join the Somali Community for the Eid festival.
That strategy is intended to foster social integration and neighbourhood cohesion.

Everyone is welcomed at Regency Park Skate Park on Saturday 24/07/2021 at 12:30pm to 3:30pm.

After this event, the community members were encouraged to attend the Eid festival IICSA and their partner organisations at the Adelaide Show ground on 31/07/2021 and 01/08/2021.
